TFE Hotels' Hottest Hotel Openings in 2025

GLOBAL: From Sydney Harbour to the historic sights of Vienna and beyond, TFE Hotels has announced its hottest hotel openings for 2025.

A BY ADINA VIENNA – Q1 2025
AUSTRIA: Australia’s premium A by Adina apartment hotel brand will make its European debut with the opening of a 108-room A by Adina Vienna in the 48-storey DANUBEFLATS, Austria's tallest residential tower.

For its European debut, A by Adina has chosen a sensational location on the banks of the Danube River and a residence inside Austria’s most prestigious residential tower. Local Owner/Developers S+B Gruppe and Soravia, together with innovative hospitality concept creators - BWM Designers & Architects, are delivering to the highest standards of architecture and design.

A by Adina Vienna will sport a fresh and elegant design concept, that sets a new standard for luxury short-term apartment style hotel accommodation.

Hotel guests will also have access to a business lounge with meeting rooms, panoramic pool (that’s heated for year-round use) overlooking Vienna's old town, and a wellness area that will include a gym, Pilates/yoga room, two saunas, quiet room, and wellness bar. A restaurant and  supermarket are planned for the ground floor and parking will be available in the spacious underground garage.

“From our initial launch in Australia in 2021, we have always envisioned and planned to introduce this premium hotel living brand into new markets, so a move into Europe was the natural next step for us,” TFE Hotels’ CEO, Antony Ritch said.

“Whilst our A by Adina Sydney guests are wowed by the Sky Lobby and the spectacular views from Dean & Nancy on 22 over Sydney’s CBD, guests to A by Adina Vienna Danube will naturally gravitate to the spectacular infinity pool, overlooking the Danube River across to St. Franziskus Church in Vienna’s old town,” Ritch said.

ADINA TOWN HALL SYDNEY – Q1 2025
SYDNEY: The 144-room Adina Town Hall Sydney, located just metres away from Sydney's iconic Town Hall Clock Tower, is currently undergoing a complete reinvention and full-scale refurbishment and will reopen in February 2025.  The major scale redesign project represents a huge repositioning of the hotel, and ultimately supports our contemporary vision for the Adina brand.

Adina Town Hall, which opened in 1998, enjoys an enviable location sought out by both business travellers and leisure guests wanting to either explore the city or simply enjoy views of Darling Harbour, Sydney’s Town Hall and historic Clock Tower from their bedroom window.

Award-winning sustainable design firm, Bates Smart, have been tasked with reimagining the apartment hotel’s interiors with a brief to “leave no area untouched”.  All guest rooms, including bathrooms and kitchens through to the lobby and corridors, four versatile conference spaces, pool, and gym will be transformed.

Given the hotel city wears a prime CBD address, the hotel’s design brings with it a level of cosmopolitan formality. The reimagined guest rooms will look and feel like contemporary long-stay apartments.  Bates Smart’s overall design concept is to create a “home away from home” experience in the generously sized rooms (45 Studios with an average size of 28m²; 54 One-bedroom apartments with an average size of 57m²; and 45 two-bedroom apartments with an average size 92m²)  for Adina guests, underpinned by a new level of casual elegance to reinvigorate the hotel.

Adina Town Hall also borders the vibrant Chinatown and Haymarket precinct, which, in a stroke of great timing, will undergo its own complementary revitalisation as part of a $44 million, long-term upgrade to revamp its public spaces to add more trees, seats, lighting and integrated public art to celebrate the area’s heritage.

HANNAH ST. HOTEL – Q3 2025
SOUTHBANK, MELBOURNE: The 188-room boutique luxury Hannah St. Hotel, which sits at the nexus joining Melbourne’s CBD, the Yarra River, South Melbourne and the Arts Precinct, is slated to open its doors in late 2025.

Hannah St. Hotel – designed by Architects, Elenberg Fraser and featuring interiors by Melbourne-based Flack Studio - is perched across 10 levels of The Queensbridge Building and will feature a neighbourhood bar, restaurant, and rooftop bar/events space. The hotel also features a lap pool, wellness studio, gym, sauna, steam rooms, co-working spaces, providore in the foyer and private dining room.

“What I love about this project is that Hannah St. Hotel will deliver an experience in a neighbourhood that is transforming, thanks to an investment in Australia’s largest cultural infrastructure project, into a truly world-class art precinct,” TFE Hotels’ CEO Antony Ritch said. “Southbank is connected to the best of Melbourne. It has a lot of energy and a real focus on arts, sports, and the outdoors (with 18,000 square metre of additional public gardens set to be delivered) which beautifully complements those iconic Melbourne experiences - shopping, laneways, food, and culture – that we all love so much.”
