Bondi Beach: Retail precinct ‘The Hub’ open for business

Following the official opening of Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach in June, Toga Group announces the first retail openings at the highly-anticipated retail precinct, ‘The Hub’.

Bridging the gap between farm-fresh and convenient, Australian grocery store Harris Farm Markets opened its doors yesterday. With top quality, seasonal produce at affordable prices it’s sure to be a local food mecca.

Other retailers open for businesses in The Hub include Gelato Messina voted best gelato in Australia by the Good Food Guide, and the prestigious, one hatted Italian restaurant A Tavola.

Jacob Rolls, General Manager, Property Investment Toga Group said: “We’re excited to welcome Harris Farm Markets to the new multi-faceted development which will provide locals and travellers with gourmet providores and well-known restaurants right on their door-step.”

To celebrate the opening, Harris Farm invites the local community to get a taste of the farm on the beach this Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November from 10am – 5pm. The market days will be a foodie’s affair, with local residents having the opportunity to meet growers, enjoy free Vittoria coffee as well as sample the delights of suppliers. There’ll also be fantastic opening specials with shoppers having the chance to win a year’s supply of groceries!

Foodies will be able to sample some great quick and easy dishes, take away recipes, tips and tricks and pick up some fresh fruit and veg to cook them at home with Alex Kearns, Glebe Point Diner, conducting free cooking demos and Sean Connelly, The Morrison, demonstrating Flinders Island Lamb.

Following in suit during mid to late November, trendy Melbournian coffee joint St Ali will have their crew of highly skilled baristas on hand to deliver Adina guests their coffee wake-up call.

The 2700m² retail precinct stretches across two levels and offers pedestrian access from both Hall and O’Brien Street. For added convenience, a new Wilson Parking complex (accessible via O’Brien Street) provides 111 additional car parks so that locals can stop in to do their shopping or enjoy dinner at a number of restaurants within the precinct.
