The Gold Coast offers more than just a great coastline and vibrant nightlife, it is also home to some to some great culinary adventures.

Eddy & Wolff

Eddy & Wolff is a 22-seat Asian bar and restaurant bringing delicious, modern eats to Robina, which remains a hidden foodie secret. The share-style menu boasts barbeque snacks and larger dishes. Expect mouth-watering dishes like their signature ‘Baby Pho’ – an old school family recipe – as well as chargrilled prawns and Taiwanese-style giblets. Eddy & Wolff’s selection of Japanese whiskeys and extremely rare sakes, make this a hot contender as one of the best restaurants on the GC.

The North Room

The North Room operates on a philosophy of ‘eat with your eyes’ but they aim to delight all the senses. Expect contemporary and exquisite share style plates paired with an intimate, casual ambiance. Perch at the bar or kick back on the blue velvet, booth-style lounge whilst indulging in a delicious tasting style menu thoughtfully matched with some lovely wines.

Hail Mary

Vamos! If you’re planning a visit to Burleigh, drop into Hail Mary Mexican, which is tucked away down a laneway arcade off the busy James Street. This Mexico City-inspired, beach-vibing joint has a striking salmon-pink colour scheme and plush velvet barstools and a mighty menu to match! With reasonable prices and bite-sized servings, along with traditional faves like tacos, jalapeno poppers and wicked, chilli-cucumber margaritas, Hail Mary is one to try!

Elk Espresso

Elk Espresso is a long-standing favourite for breakfast and coffee on the Gold Coast. Located on the beachfront of Oasis Shopping Centre, Elk is best known for its imaginative seasonal menu and its top-notch barristers who make a mean coffee. We think starting your morning at Elk Espresso feels like a warm, welcoming hug – is just what you need on any trip to the Sunshine State!

Justin Lane

A rooftop feast awaits at Justin Lane! If you’re someone who loves sundowners, balmy nights, and a tipple under the stars, then this Gold Coast establishment is for you. The fantastic rooftop bar is a casual, chilled space with white umbrellas, festoon lighting, misting to keep you cool in summer, and heaters to keep you cosy come winter.  There’s pizza, pasta, and epic views to the ocean during the day or Surfers Paradise skyline at night.

Restaurant Labart

Named the best regional restaurant in Queensland by The Courier Mail, Restaurant Labart brings a touch of Euro sophistication to Burleigh Heads. Sydney Chef, Alex Munoz Labart opened the restaurant in 2018 and it has been a firm favourite ever since.

Labart’s open-plan kitchen and charcoal grill gives diners a front-row seat to the kitchen magic. And there ever-evolving menu offers snacks, small and large plates with all ingredients locally and sustainably sourced.

Driftwood Social

Boasting a Miami pool club feel that brings new life to the Nerang riverfront, Driftwood Social is home to poolside cabanas and a surf themed bar with various “eat, drink, chill” zones. Escape the buzzing nightlife and chill out listening to the cool tunes whilst sipping Champagne.

A fresh, vibrant menu of light and dishes and share platters suits any occasion. Plus, there’s no better place than Driftwood Social catch a sunset over the hinterland.

Given Driftwood Social is located on Level 1 of Vibe Hotel Gold Coast, why not settle in with an overnight stay? The hotel’s spacious rooms have a contemporary design that embraces the hotel’s surroundings – think sandy beaches, the famous Esplanade, and views of the Nerang River – so you can really embrace that GC vibe!
