Part trattoria and part artisan bakery churning out excellent bread and pastries, Amano has an on-site flour mill that is used to handcraft pasta daily. Who doesn’t love a Teppanyaki chef cooking your meal on a sizzling grill in front of you? For a scorching fresh, yet highly entertaining dining experience, you can’t ignore Daikoku. This Auckland institution with its traditional Japanese décor makes you feel like you have been transported to Japan. Serving seasonal dishes with a European twist, this cosy restaurant in the heart of Britomart is open from early in the morning until late at night.
